Denpasar: Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues strengthening preparations for international accreditation. One of them relates to Self Evaluation Reports (SER) and ANNEX. The finalization was carried out through a Focus Group Discussion on 20 – 23 April 2022 in Denpasar.
This activity was opened by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Undiksha Cooperation, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I. He was accompanied by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Public Relations of Undiksha Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd and the Head of the Learning Development Institute and the Center for Quality Assurance Prof. Dr. I Made Ardana, M.Pd.
On that occasion, he conveyed the implementation of this FGD as a follow-up to the input from the international accreditation agency. It is also essential to do this to welcome the visitation, which is scheduled to start in July 2022. “Hopefully we can start at the end of July to September. Hopefully by the end of the year, we will get the results and hopefully, all study programs can also get unconditional accreditation status,” he hoped.
Undiksha proposes 21 study programs for international accreditation. The study program is divided into five clusters, namely the elementary and technology education cluster, the accounting and management cluster, then the natural science cluster, the language education cluster, and the language computer and informatics education cluster. “Incidentally, the PIC for AQAS itself will come to Indonesia and at the same time will conduct offline visits in the elementary and technology education cluster,” he explained.
Rasben Dantes also greatly appreciated the entire Undiksha academic community, who supported the implementation of international accreditation. Previously, the Undiksha leadership had also reviewed the infrastructure readiness in each faculty. It is hoped that this international accreditation can run successfully in order to realize an increasingly superior and competitive Undiksha.
