Singaraja, Indonesia, March 10, 2025 – The Quality Assurance Center at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) has held a dedicated training session aimed at enhancing staff understanding of accreditation standards set by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes).
The training, which took place on Monday, featured two experienced speakers, Dr. Luh Nik Armini, S.ST., M.Keb., and Irma Pratiwi. Both presenters delivered insights into the theoretical framework of LAM-PTKes, highlighting the importance of accreditation in maintaining the quality and credibility of higher education programs in health sciences.
In her presentation, Dr. Armini stressed the need for institutions to carefully study and apply each accreditation criterion. “Understanding the standards is essential to ensure that higher education providers can meet national requirements and continuously improve their academic quality,” she said.
The session also provided participants with opportunities to discuss challenges faced in the accreditation process and reflect on how best to align Undiksha’s internal quality assurance systems with LAM-PTKes standards.
By equipping its staff with stronger theoretical foundations, Undiksha hopes to bolster its preparation for future accreditation processes and reinforce its commitment to delivering high-quality health education.
