Singaraja, Indonesia — June 25–26, 2025. The Doctoral Program in Basic Education at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) underwent a two-day field assessment by the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Education (LAMDIK) as part of its accreditation process. The review took place at the Postgraduate Auditorium and involved university leaders, faculty members, students, alumni, and industry representatives.
The assessment was formally opened by Undiksha’s Vice Rector I, who welcomed two national assessors: Prof. Dr. Asep Supena and Prof. Dr. Wahyu Sukartiningsih. Over the course of the visit, assessors verified self-evaluation data covering vision, governance, quality assurance, finance, curriculum, student affairs, and international cooperation.
The assessors offered constructive feedback, including the need for a SWOT-based strategic plan, improved course design (RPS), optimized online supervision systems, and more diverse dissertation research models. They also recommended additional facilities, such as student workspaces and a faculty transit area.
The review concluded smoothly with strong participation from the academic community. The program is expected to leverage the findings to enhance its quality and strengthen its international reputation.
