Singaraja – The Undergraduate Program in Informatics Education (PTI) at the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Studies, Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha), underwent a Field Assessment (AL) for accreditation on July 18–19, 2025. The assessment took place at the former PTI and PKK study program rooms, Building E (Mechanical Engineering), 2nd floor, with two assessors from LAMDIK in attendance: Prof. Dr. Syahrul, M.Pd. from Makassar State University and Dr. Ratna Wardani, S.Si., M.T. from Yogyakarta State University.
The session was officially opened by Undiksha’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, who emphasized accreditation as a collective responsibility across the university. He also highlighted Tri Hita Karana as the institution’s guiding philosophy, while outlining recent achievements, including the launch of doctoral programs and an increase in international student enrollment.
The assessors underscored that they represented LAMDIK objectively, without affiliation to their home institutions. Their review focused on ensuring consistency between the Self-Evaluation Report (LED) and its implementation on the ground, while also gathering strategic insights from the program on development plans, human resources, and internal policies.
During the Q&A session, the program presented its development strategies, such as supporting faculty and staff in pursuing advanced studies and enhancing competencies through regular training. While clarifications were sought regarding long-term planning documents and stakeholder satisfaction data validation, the university reaffirmed its strong commitment to continuous improvement.
The assessment concluded with positive remarks from the assessors, noting that the visit had proceeded smoothly and met established standards. The Informatics Education program is expected to continue growing and producing graduates capable of competing at both national and international levels.
