Singaraja – The Bachelor of Applied Public Sector Accounting Program at the Faculty of Economics, Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha), underwent a two-day Field Assessment (AL) as part of its accreditation process on July 10–11, 2025. The assessment, held at the Faculty of Economics’ CI Building, was conducted by two assessors from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT): Dr. Erna Setiany, S.E., M.Si., and Aloysius Harry, M.Sak., Ph.D.
The first day of the assessment was officially opened by Undiksha’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, and attended by the Head of the Quality Assurance Center (PJM), along with several faculty and program leaders. During the sessions, the assessors reviewed governance and management systems, including strategic planning documents (Renstra), institutional support systems such as Perkasa, AQAS, and the Visiting Doctor program, as well as the alignment of faculty policies with learning quality standards.
The assessment also highlighted the university’s integrated quality assurance framework, which connects the Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPMPP), the Quality Assurance Center (PJM), and Quality Control Units (GKM) at the faculty and program levels. Internal Quality Audits (AMI) were evaluated to ensure compliance with standards and commitment to continuous improvement.
In addition, the assessors examined supporting aspects of accreditation, such as strategic partnerships overseen by the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, and campus facilities that enable modern and inclusive education. Facilities including the library, laboratories, auditorium, business incubator, and the university’s digitalization systems were commended for enhancing academic productivity and comfort.
On the second day, the evaluation continued with further data collection and clarifications. The assessors provided several key recommendations for strengthening program quality, emphasizing the need for improved documentation of activities and stronger commitments to continuous improvement, ensuring graduates remain relevant to the evolving demands of the public sector.
Through this assessment, Undiksha’s Public Sector Accounting program is expected to achieve optimal accreditation results while continuing to contribute to the development of highly skilled human resources in public sector accounting.
